International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race (January  29- February 6, 2010)
Enjoy world famous mushers participating in a ten-day race that begins in Jackson Hole. Come to the Town Square at 7pm and watch the spectacular first stage of the race from the Jackson Town Square Race Start to Snow King -2 miles. Call: 307-734-1163, or

Hootenanny! (February  1-22, 2010)
Come enjoy Western, Bluegrass, Country, Folk, and Blues singers in a concert setting, as well as special appearances. The show starts at 6:30 pm. Participants also welcome. The Hootenanny is held at Dornan’s. Event is free. Contact: Dornan’s at 307-733-2415. Concert dates 2/1, 2/8, 2/15, 2/22.

Final Stage of the International Sled Dog Race (February  6, 2010)

Winter Games/Special Olympics (February  10-11, 2010)

Moose Chase Nordic Skate Race (February  13, 2010)
The Moose Chase, held in Teton Village at 10am, offers a Nordic Skiing experience for athletes of all abilities and ages. Events include a full marathon, a half marathon and a Mini-Moose Chase. For more information or to register call the JH Ski Club, 307-733-6433.

Shriner’s All American Cutter Races (February  13-14, 2010)
You won't want to miss the fun and excitement of the Shriner's Cutter Races. This western version of horse-drawn chariots run teams two abreast for a 1/4 mile down the track to the finish line. A Calcutta makes stakes and excitement soar! Sponsored by the Jackson Hole Shriner's Club. Location: Melody Ranch Race Track. Contact: Bob Lundy, 307-413-2876.

Jackson Hole Lions Club 49er Ball (February  27, 2010)
Annual fundraising event, since 1896, will be held at the Virginian Lodge Ballroom. Dancing, silent auction, gambling, costume prizes, old time photos, fortunes by Madame Moon and food are part of the fun. The band starts playing at 8 pm. Costumes are not required.
